SEABREEZE TOURNAMENT 2021


36 HOLE STROKE EVENT
Congratulations to winners of all events.

The Division 1 Scratch winner was Elyce Cuzner with 163 off the stick, runner up with 174 was Noeline Bell.
Division 2 Scratch winner was Jo Byrnes with 207 closely followed by Colleen Bennett t with 208.
Division 1 Handicap winner with nett 151 was Carny Driscoll with Jennifer Scullin runner up with 152 nett.
Division 2 Handicap winner was Cheryl’s Watters with 149 nett and runner up was Yetti Burgess with 158 nett.
Pam Hahne was the Division 1 putter of the tournament with 59 putts.. division 2 Putter of the Tournament was Colleen Bennett.

THURSDAY 4BBB EVENT
Sue Cotterill and Lesley Baird were the winners of this event with 44 points from runners up Wendy Dunn and Kath Brown with 42 points.

SATURDAY 18 HOLE STROKE EVENT
Elyce Cuzner was the Division 1 Scratch winner with 84off the stick, narrowly beating Noeline Bell who had 85.
Division 2Scratch winner was Judy Filmer with 99 off the stick and runner up was Colleen Bennett with 102.
Jenny Scullin was Division 1 Handicap winner with nett 72 from Heather Dennis with nett 77.
Division 2 Handicap winner was Jo Byrnes with nett 74 from Wendy Rhodes with nett 76.

SUNDAY 18 HOLE STROKE EVENT
Elyce Cuzner continued her good form to take out Division1 Scratch Event 79 off the stick. Noeline Bell was runner up with 89.
Division 2 Scratch winner was Jo Byrnes with 104 off the stick from Yetti Burgess with 106.
Carny Driscoll was Division 1 Handicap winner with nett 70, runner up was Juanita Trent with nett 74:
Division 2 Handicap winner was Cheryl’s Watters with nett 73 from Joan Hardy with nett 74.

TUESDAY JANUARY 12 2021

A field of 43 players competed for a Stableford event on Tuesday. The good scoring of recent weeks continues with Juanita Trent, who had 41 points, the winner of Division 1 ahead of Elyse Cuzner. Shirley Toohill came home strong with 38 points giving her the win in Division 2 from Rhonda Castellari. Trish Westmore who had 39 points took out Division 3 from Edith Robinson who had 35. NTP's went to Sue Pauline on the 3rd, Pat James the 9th, Yetti Burgess the18th and Elyse Cuzner the 18th. Balls went to 34 points or better.





The Annual Sea Breeze Tournament kicks off on Thursday with a 4BBB, the Mixed event on Friday, with Saturday and Sunday Stroke events, Good luck to everyone taking part.

SATURDAY JANUARY 9 2021

38 Players took part in a Stableford Event on Saturday with some excellent scores returned.   Joanne McKenzie carded 42 points to take out Division 1 ahead of Noeline Bell who would have been reasonably confident with 40 points declared the runner up.   Kaye Murray's 39 points was good enough to win Division 2 ahead of Rhonda Castellari who managed 38 points.  39 points was also good enough to win Division 3 with Helen Coulter being declared the winner ahead of Carol Newton who had 34 points.   NTP's went to Cherryl Watters on the 3rd, Lyn Hambilton the 9th, Carol Newton the 14th and Wendy Dunn the 18th.    17 Balls were given.

TUESDAY JANUARY 5 2021

With rain predicted only 37 players competed for Tuesday's Stableford event.    Turning out to be a dry, albeit steamy day, there were some great scores.   Robyn Brand had 39 points and was the winner of Division 1 ahead of Wendy Hergenhan who had 38 points.   The best score of the day came from Division 2 with Wendy Rhodes carding a wonderful 40 points to beat Alison Anderson who had 37 points.    Carol Brown also with 37 points was the winner of Division 3 from Joan Hardy who had 34 points.    NTP's went to Carol Brown on the 3rd, Pat James the 9th, Noeline Bell the 14th and Rhonda Castellari the 18th.   Balls went to 34 points.

SATURDAY JANUARY 2 2021
We had 36 starters on Saturday to kick off the New Year, giving us 3 Divisions.    The always consistent Karen Enright took out Division 1 with 36 points ahead of Robyn Brand who had 35 points.    36 points was also good enough to win Division 2 with Marg Kermode holding onto a countback from Carny Driscoll.    35 points was need to win Division 3 with Ivi Streimann beating Di Evans on a countback    NTP's went to Jenette Cox on the 3rd, Wendy Rhode the 9th, Ivi Streimann the 14th and Yetti Burgess the 18th.    Balls went to 33 points.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 26TH


A small field of 19 players after the Festivities of Christmas.    Joanne McKenzie, in fine form and with 39 points was the winner ahead of Pam Hahne with 38 points.

NTP's went to Karen Enright on the 9th and Wendy Rhodes the 18th.   Balls went to 34 points.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 22ND

We had 29 players on Tuesday with 2 Divisions.   In perfect conditions for golf, there were some great scores.   Juanita Trent with 40 points was lucky enough to come away with a win beating Jan Meares on a countback.    Division 2 was won By Lesley Baird with 35 points ahead of Jo Byrnes who had 34 points.   NTP's on the 3rd Jo Byrnes, 9th Liz Canney, 14th Pam Hahne and the 18th was also won by Liz.   Balls to 34 points. 
SATURDAY DECEMBER 19TH

32 players competed in the Stableford event giving us 2 Divisions 0-28 and 29-45.     The best score of the day was posted by Noeline Bell, playing of a handicap of 12, with 37 points.   Carol Stege was the next best with 35 points.    Division 2 went to Joan Hardy with 34 points and Cherryle Watters was the runner up with 33 points.   NTP on the 9th was Pam Hahne, Yetti Burgess the 14th and Liz Canney took out the 18th.   Balls went to those with scores of 32 or better.

Christmas Fun Day


TUESDAY 15 DECEMBER 2020
Tuesday was a Christmas Fun Day Followed by a BBQ lunch. 50 ladies dressed in their best Christmas costumes played some very interesting holes. Many teams finding it difficult to play the 5th, the hole where the golf ball was replaced by a tennis ball.

Bribes were paid on some holes to advance to a closer tee on one hole and have a male take your drive on another. Entry fee and funds raised resulted in a $500 donation to CanAssist.


Winners on the day were the team of Maree Hergenhan, Helen Coulter, Deidre Feneley and Carol Brown with a nett score of 32.75. Runners up with nett 39.75 were Bev Munz, Jan McGrath, Cherryle Watters and Alison Schmid.

The award for Best Dressed Team went to the beautiful Christmas fairies Jo Byrnes, Yetti Burgess, Patty McCartney and Denise Walters.
Best decorated cart went to Nora Trent.


Summer competitions continue for December and January.


SATURDAY 12 DECEMBER 2020

40 Starters played a Stableford Event in three Divisions, 0-24, 25-30 and 31-45.
With the best score of the day, 39 points, Lyn Hambilton took out Division 1 from runner up Noeline Bell who had 35 points.
Division 2 was won by Wendy Rhodes with 37 points and runner up with 34 points was Shirley Toohill.
Ivi Streimann was Division 3 winner with 35 points.. runner up was Cherryle Watters with 34 points.


Balls went down to 32 points.
Nearest the Pins: 3rd Sandra Mullaney, 9th Judy Filmer, 14th Shirley Toohill and 18th Carol Stege.


Monday December 14 2020
20 ladies enjoyed the final 9 hole competition for the year, followed by morning tea to celebrate a rather strange year. In keeping with tradition, only three clubs were used which made for some interesting scores. Winners were Jodie Russell, Marg Kermode, Betty McDonald, Yetti Burgess, Kerri Wood, Jo Byrnes and Karen Enright.



Nine hole golf resumes on Monday 8 February 2021, 8:15am Tee off. Best wishes for the holiday season.

Annual Dinner 2020

TUESDAY DECEMBER 8 2020
Once again playing for hams 50 Starters played a Stableford Event in 3 Divisions, 0-26,27-32, 33-45.

Division 1 winner was new Captain Noeline Bell with 37 points. Runner up with 35 points was Wendy Dunn.
Di Evans took out Division 2 with the best score of the day, 38 points from runner up Deidre Feneley who had 37 points.
Division 3 went to Ann Tranter on a count back from Carol Brown both with 35 points.

Balls in the ball competition went to those with 31 points or better.

A Stableford Event with 31 starters was played in two Divisions, 0-26 and 27-45.
Sue Howland took home the ham for Division 1 with 34 points on a count back from Carol Stege.
With the best score of the day, a wonderful 40 points, Sue Pauline won Division 2 from Joanne McKenzie who had 36 points.


Balls went down to 33 points.

TUESDAY December 1 2020
The Ladies played a Stableford event on the Short Pink Course on Tuesday. A shotgun start enabled the players to finish roughly at the same time ahead of the Ladies’ AGM.

Playing for Xmas Hams certainly inspired some. Pam Hahne took out the Division 1 on a countback from Robyn Brand, both with 33 points. The best score of the day came from Division 2, the score of 40 points belonged to Kaye Murray ahead of Judy Shallard on 37 points. Division 3 went to Edith Robinson with 36 points with Carol Brown the runner up 34 points. Cherryle Watters returned a score of 38 points to beat Sue Pauline on a countback.

​The AGM saw a reshuffling of Committee, with the members remaining he same. Noeline Bell has taken on the Captaincy from retiring Wendy Rhodes, whose knowledge will not be lost as she joins the general Committee. We take this opportunity to thank Wendy, whose leadership over the last 3 years has been outstanding. Thanks Wendy, you are to be congratulated for your diligence and hard work in what, particularly over the past year, has been immensely trying times.

SATURDAY November 28 2020
Last Saturday provided perfect conditions for playing golf, which was reflected by some good scores. 36 players meant we had three Divisions 0-23; 24-29; and 30-45. Division 1 went to Lyn Hambilton with 39 points ahead of Robyn Brand who had 35. The best score of the day came from Division 2 with Judy Shallard showing how it is done with a wonderful 41 points with Colleen Bennett the runner up with 38 points. Division 3, continuing her outstanding form was Jo Byrnes with a very commendable 36 points ahead of Sandra Mullaney who had 31. NTP’s on the 3rd Jo Byrnes; 9th Shirley Toohill, 14th Rhonda Castellari and the 18th Pam Hahne. Balls went to 31 points.

Tuesday November 24 2020
Sponsored by the Bendigo Bank, the Club Champions for 2020 have been declared with Robyn Brand this year wearing the coveted crown.  Congratulations Robyn, well deserved.    The Division 1 Scratch Winner went to Pam Hahne ahead of Karen Enright.    Jan McGrath kept steady to win Division 2 on a countback from Marg Kermode, while Jo Byrnes held her lead to win Division 3 from Edith Robinson.     Handicap honours went to Narelle Harrison ahead of Marnie Nicholson in Division 1, Division 2 Yetti Burgess was declared the winner from Colleen Bennett while Trish Westmore took out the Division 3 from Carol Brown.    Robyn Brand won the putting and Narelle Harrison easily snared the Gay Driese trophy.

​The daily event saw 52 starters with Divisions 0-26; 27-31 and 32-45.     Lyn Hambilton with a nett 72 was the Division 1 winner from Karen Enright who had a nett 73.   Deirdre Feneley, with the best score of the day, nett 70 won Division 2 ahead of Lesley Baird who had 73 nett.    Division 3 belonged to Jenny Ellis defeating Joan Hardy on a countback with nett 75.

Nine ladies enjoyed the pink short course. Winners were Patricia Daly, Jodie Russell and Robyn Hanrahahn. Tee off next Monday at 8.15am. All welcome.

Sunday November 22 2020
The second round of the Club Championships was played on Sunday with 40 starters on the day.    Three Division for the Daily event.     Division 1; 0-26, was won by Pam Hahne who had a nett 70 on a countback from Carol Stege.    Division 2 27-31, saw Jo Byrnes continue her good form with the equal best score of the day, nett 68 ahead of Jan McGrath who had a nett 70.     Trish Westmore, also in fine form won Division 3 with 68 nett ahead of Carol Brown who had a nett 70.     NTP's went to Jo Byrnes on the 3rd, Karen Enright the 9th, Judy Shallard the 14th and Anne Tranter the 18th.    Putting on the day went to Jo Byrnes with 28 putts.    12 balls were given and 74 nett or better was needed.

Current standings on the Championships sees Pam Hahne and Robyn Brand equal with a bit of daylight to the next best.    B Grade currently belongs to Marg Kermode, leading by 1 shot from Jan McGrath.    Jo Byrnes is holding a comfortable lead in C Grade ahead of Edith Robinson who is 2 shots clear of Joan Hardy.     Good luck to everyone for the final round on Tuesday.

Saturday November 21 2020
Only 16 players played a Bonus Par last Saturday.      The winner was Jo Byrnes who had a plus 4, with Judy Shallard, also plus 4 loosing the countback.   8 Balls were given and you needed square or better.

The first programmed round of the 2020 Club Championships was held on Tuesday.   
We had 3 Divisions for the daily event - 0-27; 28-32; 33-45.
The best score of the day went to Narelle Harrison with a 67 nett.   Sue Howland was the runner-up with nett 73.     Marg Kermode, also finding form at the right time, had a nett 70 to win Division 2 ahead of Shirley Toohill who beat Colleen Bennett on a countback with 73 nett to snare the runners-up prize.     Edith Robinson, also with a 73 nett won Division 3 from Trish Westmore who had a nett 74. 
Narelle Harrison won the putting with 29.   NTP’s on the 3rd Lou Holt, Rhonda Castellari the 9th and Lyn Hambilton the 18th.     Balls were given to 75 nett or better.
Leading the way in the Championship Scratch event is Robyn Brand.

Twenty-two ladies enjoyed the nine holes of golf in rather warm conditions.    Winners were Jodie Russell, Di Evans. Kerry Woods, Robyn Hanrahan, Karen Enright, Patricia Daly and Marg Kermode.   Next week we will be playing the Pink Course back nine.   Tee off at 8.15am.    All Welcome.

37 Players took part in the Stableford event, giving us 3 Division 0-25; 26-31 and 32-45.   There were some very good scores recorded.     Denise Falvey successfully held off Marnie Nicholson to win Division 1 on a countback with 38 points.   Rhonda Castellari also won on a countback from Yetti Burgess with 36 points, while Joan Hardy won Division 3 also with 36 points from Cherryle Watters who had 35 points.    NTP’s on the 3rd went to Joan Hardy, Maree Hergenhan the 9th, Alison Anderson the 14th and Noeline Bell the 18th.    Balls went to 33 points.

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 10 2020
We celebrated Patron's Day on Tuesday.   How wonderful to have Joy join us for afternoon tea.   We sincerely wish she could join us on the Golf Course, and hopefully when the knee gets better she will be able to do just that.

46 players competed in the Stableford event and there were some great scores.    Division 1, handicaps 0-27, was won by Jan Meares with 38 points, just ahead of Marnie Nicholson who had 37 points.     Deirdre Feneley from Division 2, handicaps 28-32, had the best score of the day with 40 points, with Jan McGrath claiming the runner up prize with 38 points.    Bridget O'Reilly, who also had 38 points won the Division 3 with Helen Coulter the runner up with 34 points.  

NTP's went to Judy Shallard on the 3rd, Pam Hahne the 9th, Sue Pauline the 14th and Ros Hughes, a visitor from Mollymook, the 18th.   17 Balls were given and you needed 33 points or better.

MONDAY NOVEMBER 9 2020
Seventeen ladies enjoyed playing nine holes of golf in beautiful sunshine.     Today's event was "Mystery Holes".   Winners were Marg Kermode, Sheila Russell, Karen Enright, Jodi Russell and Wendy Watson.
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7 2020
35 Players took part in a Stableford event last Saturday giving us 2 Divisions; 0-28 and 29-45.  Liz Canney successfully took out Division 1 beating Sue Howland on a countback with 35 points.     Wendy Bergsma had the best score of the day with 40 points ahead of Edith Robinson who had 36 points.     NTP in the 3rd went Edith Robinson, Robyn Brand the 9th, Sue Pauline the 14th and Carol Stege the18th.   You needed 31 points or better to win a ball.

After much needed rain, it was wonderful to be able to have a game on Tuesday.    Fifty-two players enjoyed the sunshine and the course, recovering superbly from the rain.    3 Divisions, 0-27, 28-32 and 33-45, with the best score of the day coming from Division 1.    Rhonda Castellari took the prize ahead of Juanita Trent who survived a few countbacks with 35 points.   Patty McCartney had 37 points and took out Division 2 from Yetti Burgess who had 35, also winning on a countback.    Edith Robinson had 36 points which was good enough to win Division 3 ahead of the ever-consistent Nora Trent who had 34 points.     NTP’s on the 9th was won by Lesley Baird and Juanita Trent won the 18th.  Balls went to those who had 33 points or better.

MONDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2020
Monday 9 hole golf saw the return of sunshine after a very soggy weekend.   Twelve ladies enjoyed the front nine flooded course.    Winners were Patricia Daly, Robyn Hanrahan, Yetti Burgess and Phyllis Piscopo.   Tee off next Monday at 8.15 a.m

SATURDAY OCTOBER 24 2020
Even though the forecast was not favourable, 26 players played a Stroke Event on the short Pink Course, giving us 2 Divisions 0-20 and 21-45.      A countback was needed to determine the Division 1 winner, with Colleen Bennett successfully nudging out Judy Filmer, both with a 72 nett.     The best round of the day went to Alison Anderson with a nett 71 with the runner-up Kerry Gardner with a 72 nett.    Putting was jointly won by Karry Gardner and Kaye Murray both with 30 putts.   NTP's were won by Liz Canney on the 14th and Rhonda Castellari the 18th.

We have 4 pairs representing Tathra  at the Keno Play Offs at Queanbeyan on Sunday October 25th.   Wishing good golf to Pam Hahne and Robyn Brand; Sue Howland and Carney Driscoll;  Bill Taylor and Jo Meyers;  Kevin Healey and Juanita Trent.

Another lovely day for golf on our beautiful course saw 52 starters contest a Stableford Event in 3 Divisions, 0-27, 28-32 and 33-45.
Division 1 was take out by the in form Carol Stege with 38 points from runner up Marnie Nicholson with35 points.
The best score of the day was recorded by Jo Byrnes, a fabulous 40 points earning her the win in Division 2 from Barb Rowley with 38 points.
Division 3 went to Sue Pauline with 37 points from runner up Helen Coulter with 35    points.
Nearest the pins went to Judy Shallard on the 3rd, Marnie Nicholson the 9th, Lesley Merry the 14th and Carol Newton the 18th.          Balls went to those with 33 points or better.

Tuesday October 27 is a Stableford Event.

A Par Event on the Jade Course was held with 21 starters in 2 Divisions, 0-20 and 21-45.
Carole Stege continued her winning form with +5 to take out Division 1 from Liz Canney who had +3.
Bridget O’Reilly returned to the winners circle in Division 2 with +3; from Carol Newton runner up with -2.

Nearest the pins went to Wendy Dunn on the 3rd, Bridget O’Reilly the 9th, Pam Hahne the 14th and Cherryle Watters the 18th.

You had to have -2 or better to receive one of the 9 balls on offer.

Next Saturday October 24 is a Stroke Event.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 13 2020
In lovely golfing conditions 49 starters played a Monthly Medal Stroke round in 3 Divisions, 0-27, 28-32 and 33-45.
The Medal Winner came from Division 2 with a wonderful nett 68, congratulations Kath Brown.

Carol Stege was the Division one winner with nett 70, from Liz Canney who had nett 71.
Division 2 runner up with nett 71 was Colleen Bennett.
Sue Pauline had a lovely nett 69 to take out Division 3 from Ann Tranter with nett 71.

Lowest off the stick was Pam Hahne and Robyn Brand both with 91, while the putting was taken out by Nora Trent with 30 putts.

Today saw a return of the Nearest the Pin competition. The 3rd went to Judy Shallard, the 9th to Kim Jones, the 14th to Sue Pauline and the 18th to Wendy Dunn.        Balls went to those with nett 75 or better.
Next Tuesday October 20 is a Stableford Event.
MONDAY OCTOBER 12 2020
Fifteen ladies played nine holes in cloudy, but perfect golf conditions. Winners were Jodie Russell, Patricia Daly, Di Evans, Phyllis Piscopo and Cheryl McKenzie.

A reminder that the Men’s Seniors Competition will be using our course next Monday October 19, so there will be no nine hole golf.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 10 2020

33 starters took to the course to contest a Stableford Event in 2 Divisions, 0-28 and 29-45.
With the best score of the day, a magnificent 40 points, Denise Falvey took out Division 1 from runner up Sharon Somerville with 38 points.
Judy Shallard continued her good form taking out Division 2 with 37 points, with runner up Jan McGrath on 35 points.
You had to have 34 points or better to receive one of the 10 balls.

Next Saturday October 17 is a Par Event.


TUESDAY OCTOBER 6 2020
Due to the rain a field of only 7 players played a stableford event in one Division. The winner was Mary Kermode with 35 pints. 2 balls were given to those with 32 or better.

The 4BBB Match Play Champions are Karen Enright and Wendy Bergsma who defeated Marnie Nicholson and Edith Robinson on the 17th hole. Congratulations ladies.

MONDAY OCTOBER 5 2020
Eleven very keen ladies played nine holes on the Public Holiday Monday. Winners were Karen Enright, Marg Kermode, Phyllis Piscopo and Patricia Daly.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 3 2020
Saturday saw 37 ladies start the day in lovely sunny weather, with the wind coming up later in the morning. A Stableford event was played in three Divisions, 0-24, 25-31 and 32-45.
Carole Stege took out Division one with the best score of the day, a lovely 38 points. Pam Hahne was runner up on a count back from Juanita Trent with 37 points.
Division2 was won by Ivi Streiman with 37 points from Yetti Burgess with 36 points.
Jenette Cox was the Division 3 winner with 34 points and runner up was Di Campbell with 32 points.
13 balls went to those with 32 or better.

We had a field of 61 players last Tuesday competing for the final Golf NSW Medal for 2020. This gave us 4 Divisions 0-25; 26-30; 31-34 and 35-45. Continuing on from where she left off last Saturday, Denise Falvey won Division 1 with nett 72 ahead of Lyn Hambilton who had nett 73. Division 2 went to Lesley White with nett 71 nudging out Di Evans who had 72 nett. The best score of the day, and medal winner, was returned by Judy Shallard, nett 70 with Jo Byrnes the runner-up with 71. Di Campbell was the best in Division 4 with a score of 71 nett and Wendy Bergsma claimed the runner-up prize with nett 76. Putting was won by Carol Stege with 29 putts. 21 Balls were given and a score of 76 or better was needed.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26 2020

30 Players competed for the Monthly Medal in extremely windy conditions. The best score of the day, and the Medal winner, came from Division 2 (Handicaps 26-45) was Ann-Marie Corradini with a nett 70. Ivi Streimann was the runner-up with 74 nett. Division 1 was won by Denise Falvey with 73 nett head of Karen Enright with 74 nett. Putting went to Denise Falvey and Sharon Somerville both with 31 putts. 11 Balls were given and you needed 78 or better.

The semi final of the 4BBB Match Play was played on Tuesday with the winners being Karen Enright and Wendy Bergsma and Marnie Nicholson and Edith Robinson.     Good luck to both of these pairs for the final.

We had 49 starters play a Stableford event over 3 Divisions,  0-26, 27-32 and 33-45.      Division 1 was won by Robyn Brand with 35 points ahead of Wendy Dunn with 34 points.    Di Evans took out Division 2 with 33 points on a countback from Marg Kermode.    The best score of the day came from Division 3, with the ever consistent Carol Brown having a very steady round of 36 points ahead of Di Campbell who had 34 points.     Balls went to 31 points. 

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 21 2020
Seventeen ladies played nine holes on beautiful weather conditions.    Winners were Di Evans, Marg Kermode, Denise Rainbird, Karen Enright and Shiela Russell.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19 2020
35 players played a Par event on the Pink Course last Saturday, giving us 2 Divisions 0-21 and 22-45.
Continuing on her "purple patch" with a fantastic score of plus 5, Karen Enright streaked away from the rest of field.   Kath Brown with square was the runner up.    Fresh from a trip away, Kerry Gardner took advantage of perfect conditions to register a score of plus 3 to beat Karen Thornton with plus 2.   Balls went to minus 1.

Congratulations to Karen Enright and Wendy Bergsma winning a very tough battle against Ivi Streimann and Di Campbell to progress to the next round of the 4BBB Match Play event.

52 players played a Stableford event with 3 Divisons 0-26; 27-32 and 33-45.   Some very good scoring today with Judy Filmer taking out Division 1 on a countback from Juanita Trent with 37 points.    Rhonda Castellari was victorious in Division 2 with 38 points ahead of Bev Munz with 37 points.     Helen Coulter also with 37 points won Division 3 from Edith Robinson who had 34 points.   Balls went to 32 points.



MONDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2020
Seventeen ladies tackled the Pink Course over 9 holes.   Winners were Cheryl Mackenzie, Marg Kermode, Min Vale and Karen Enright.   Three encouragement balls were also awarded.    Tee off next Monday at 8.30 am.  All welcome.

A brisk start to the morning saw 37 players compete in a Stableford event, giving us enough for 3 Divisions, 0-25, 26-32 and 33-45.    Karen Enright continues her consistent run and took out Division 1 with 40 points.    Jan Meares was the runner-up with a very commendable 38 points.    Bev Munz led the way in Division 2 returning 37 points with Alison Anderson close behind scoring 36 points.   Karen Thornton held off a countback from Jenny Ellis to take out Division 3 with 34 points.  Balls went to 32.
Next Saturday is a Par event.      A reminder that the early morning timesheet (before 7.30) is open as Medley.   This is for time sheet purposes only and players will be included in the normal men's and ladies' competition of the day.

The 4BBB Match Play competition continued.   The winners were Karen Enright and Wendy Bergsma, Ivi Streimann and Di Campbell, Marnie Nicholson and Edith Robinson as well as Wendy Smith and Jenette Cox.    Still to play their next round are Marg Kermode and Ann Tranter, Kerry Gardner and Bridget O’Reilly.

The Stableford event had 38 starters, 3 Divisions 0-27, 28-32 and 33-45.      Continuing her streak in the winners’ circle, Kaye Murray took out Division 1 with 38 points with Sally Armstrong the runner-up with 36 points.     Marg Kermode had 37 points to win Division 2 ahead of Wendy Rhodes who had 36 points.   The best score of the day again came from Division 3, Carol Brown winning with 39 points and Patty McCartney the runner-up with 34 points.       Balls went to 32 points.

Our Monday 9 Hole ladies competition had 19 starters this week in absolute beautiful conditions.   A Mystery Nine holes was the event of the day and the winners were Kerri Wood, Min Vale, Val Besant, Patricia Daly, Jodie Russell and Marg Nall.    Tee off next Monday at 8.30, all welcome.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 6 2020
A Mixed 2 Ball Ambrose was played as part of the Keno Competition on Sunday.    Winners on the day were Bill Taylor and Jo Meyers with an adjusted score of 63.50, according to the Keno Rules of Competition.    The next best were Juanita Trent and Kevin Healy with 66.25 with Carny and Mick Driscoll coming in in third place.

A maximum field of 40 players took part In the Stableford event at Tathra last Saturday, with some exceptionally good scores.      3 Divisions 0-25, 26-32 and 33-45.    Division 1 was taken out by the ever-consistent Karen Enright with 38 points closely followed by Lyn Hambilton with 37 points.    Division 2 was won by Rhonda Castellari with 36 points with Kaye Murray the runner up with 34 points.       The best score of the day belonged to Judy Shallard with a wonderful 41 points with Edith Robinson the next best with 36 points.     Balls went to 33 points.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 1 2020

On Tuesday the second round of the 4BBB Match Play was played.     Winners on the day were Jo Byrnes and Narelle Harrison, Jenette Cox and Wendy Smith, Kerry Gardner and Bridget O’Reilly, Marnie Nicholson and Edith Robinson, Jenny Ellis and Libby Whiteway.    Wendy Bergsma and Karen Enright along with Marg Kermode and Ann Tranter had a bye this week.

We had 34 players take part in the Stableford event with some good scoring.    Juanita Trent took out Division 1 with 38 points ahead of Karen Enright who had 37 points.    Division 2, handicaps 30-45, went to Jan Waterson who also had 38 points, with Robyn Carnegie the next best with 37 points.   Balls went to 33 points.


MONDAY AUGUST 31 2020  - 9 HOLE COMP

On Monday, 14 players played the 9 hole 4BBB in yet again windy conditions.    Winners were, Wendy Smith and Phyllis Piscopo, Patty McCartney and Ann Tranter, Jo Byrnes and Sally Armstrong and Sally Armstrong and Cheryl Mackenzie.   Tee of next Monday at 8.30.   All welcome.

​SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST 2020

Last Saturday Tathra Ladies had 39 players competing for the Monthly Medal with  3 Divisions 0-25, 2-31 and 32-45.
Division 1 went to Marnie Nicholson with a nett 73 on a countback from Lyn Hambilton.    Division 2, and the medal winner, was Wendy Rhodes with a nett 70 ahead of Kerry Gardner who had a nett 77.       Division 3 went to the very consistent Robyn Carnegie with a nett 72 ahead of Ann Tranter with a nett 74.      The putting was won by Robyn Brand, needing only 28 putts over the 18 holes.      Balls went to 77 nett.

TUESDAY AUGUST 25 2020
The first round of the Annual 4BBB Match Play was held on Tuesday with a great field of 64 players on the day.    Thirty players are progressing to the next Round and we wish everyone still in the running the best of luck.    For those not competing in the Match Play, a Stableford event will be played next Tuesday September 1st.


MONDAY AUGUST 24 2020
