A great field of 56 players for our Opening Day. Most players remembered to wear their Uniform and a photo was taken to honour what has been our uniform for about 6 years. We are eagerly waiting the arrival of our new uniform which we hope to have in time for our Open. The best score on the day went to the Team of Shirley Toohill, Kaye Murray and Denise Falvey, closely followed by Lesley White, Patty McCartney and Carleen Maley. Third place went to Michele Blight, Sue Pauline and Wendy Bergsma. It was wonderful to welcome back Carleen Maley playing for the first time in about 3 years. We also welcomed Di Evans back after a stint on the sidelines through injury. |
The Winner of this Years Summer Salver, eclectic competition, went to Alison Anderon. Capping of a great Summer, Alison was also awarded the Summer Stableford Winner with Juanita Trent declared the runner-up.

Saturday turned out to be perfect for golf following the heavy rain on Friday. The lower part of the course was wet, but not enough to deter the 30 starters keen to return a good score to count towards the Shoot Out. Trish Tarlinton took out Division 1 with 37 points from Sue Howland who had 36 points. Division 2 went to Nicole Lock with a fabulous 40 points while Shirley Toohill, who had 39 points had to settle for Runner-Up. NTP's went Wendy Bergsma on the 3rd, Lyn Hambilton the 9th, Robyn Brand the 14th and Karen Enright the 18th. Balls went those with 31 points or better.

Early morning drizzle detered a few players although it turned out to be a great day for golf. We had 40 players in the field giving us 3 Divisions. Scores were good across the field. Divison 1 went to Jo McKenzie, with 38 points ahead of Juanita Trent who had 37. Also with 38 points, Marg Kermode survived the countback to take out Division 2 from Di Evans. Patricia Daly was the winner of Division 3 with 34 points ahead of Jodie Russell with 32 points.
NTP's went to Jodie Russell, who is claiming the 3rd as her own, Jo McKenzie enjoyed her game on a Tuesday with not only securing the Division 1 win but also the 9th and 14th NTP's while Di Evans took out the 18th. Balls went to those with 33 points or better.
There is a waiting list for Saturday January 15th. Anyone who finds that they can't play, please contact Anne Maree rather than just take your name out.
