This December, we’re taking on the ultimate golf endurance challenge — 72 holes in one day ⛳️⛳️⛳️⛳️
Why?
To raise funds for Cancer Council’s life-saving cancer research, support services and prevention programs.
We’re proud to be taking part in The Longest Day, helping to make a real difference for Australians impacted by cancer.

Mixed Monthly Medley
Sunday 23rd November, 2025.
Mixed Monthly Medley, a fun and social golf event open to all players. Each month we’ll play a relaxed 11-hole medley,
perfect for golfers of all levels who want to enjoy a shorter, friendly competition with plenty of laughs along the way.
Great Prizes to Be Won, We’ll be mixing up the prize table each month — including fantastic Christmas hams during the festive season and other exciting giveaways throughout the year.
Live Music After Golf, After the round, come back into the club to unwind with live music, good company, and a great atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to cap off an afternoon on the course.
Grab some friends, bring your partner, or come along and join another group. The Mixed Monthly Medley is all about fun, community, and enjoying golf together.
Golden Oldies Rugby
Friday/Saturday 24th/25th, October, 2025.
✨We kicked things off Friday night with the famous Crab Races 🦀 — the clubhouse was packed with past rugby legends, families, and friends cheering on 16 speedy crustaceans!
The crab auction alone raised an incredible $3,600, with $360 going straight to the David Dodd Sporting Scholarship — helping local Bega Valley kids get to sporting events they might otherwise miss. ❤️
And thanks to generous donations from visiting clubs, the total raised for the scholarship on the night climbed to an amazing $1,380!
Saturday brought the Golden Oldies Rugby Carnival 🏉 featuring teams from across NSW and the ACT — including the SHAGs, Vincentia Van Gones, Cooma Knackered Brumbies, ACT Vets, Bateman’s Bay Olde Boares, Wollongong Viking Longhorns, Southern Rough Riders, and our own Blue Veins!
A brilliant roll-up, great footy, and even better sportsmanship — all played in the true Golden Oldies spirit of fun, friendship, and a few sore muscles the next day! 😄
What a fantastic weekend celebrating community, sport, and good times at the Club! 💙

Working Bee

Working Bee Update – Wednesday October 8th, 2025
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all volunteers who participated in our recent Working Bee. This week, efforts were focused on improving the area at the back of the 18th green and enhancing the pathway leading to the 10th tee, helping to maintain the quality and safety of our course. A special acknowledgment to Staffords in Kalaru for generously providing the use of their truck. Your support was invaluable in completing the work efficiently. Looking Ahead: Next week, volunteers will be working from the 5th tee out to the fairway, continuing our commitment to keeping Tathra Beach Country Club in excellent condition for all members and visitors. We greatly appreciate the dedication and effort of everyone involved in these projects—your contribution ensures the club remains a wonderful place to play and enjoy. |

Our newly installed EV charger is operational located on the playing field side of the clubhouse car park. $.60 K/hour.
So come on in and enjoy a cold beverage or some Chinese for lunch, If you’ve been on a long drive and need to stretch your legs a round of 9 holes enjoying the views of our lovely course is a must. Clubs & equipment can be hired from the club.
